Stroudley Walk Health Centre and Merchant Street Practice Merging
Healthwatch Tower Hamlets have been informed of an upcoming merger of two Tower Hamlets Practices – Stroudley Walk Health Centre and Merchant Street Practice, which both currently operate from the same location at 1A Wellington Way, E3 4NE.
Both practices will be merging on 1 July 2022 and will be operating as a single GP Practice under a new name – Wellington Way Health Centre.
The same Doctors, Health Professionals and Staff will be part of the merged team, offering continuation of care throughout this process and a seamless transition for patients. Operating as a single practice will enable the practice team to better share resources and expertise and improve the delivery of primary care services.
Both practices are very enthusiastic about this new Partnership and over the coming weeks will be working closely to integrate their systems and processes.
The patients of both Practices have been contacted regarding the upcoming changes (please see letter enclosed) and provided with access to a FAQ document. Patients have also been invited to join patient engagement sessions in June 2022, where they can find out more information.
